Efforts for charity were legendary
MANY are mourning the death of Jackie Parrett, pictured, who died peacefully at home last week after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
With her husband Turrloo, she was best known for running and developing Eastwell Manor at Boughton Aluph into one of Kent’s premier hotels.
She leaves three children Gary, Mark and Helenne, and was grandmother to Sean, George, Sophie, Oliver, Emma, Jasper and Merlin.
Her efforts for many charities were legendary with a special place reserved for Demelza House children’s hospice and Macmillan Cancer Care.
She also shared her husband’s passion for horse racing and was a regular at his side at Folkestone racecourse and others across the south.
Her funeral will be held at All Saints Church, Boughton Aluph on Friday October 10, at 2.30pm.
Funeral arrangements are being made by Doves of Ashford.
