Town had already hit the post twice before they went ahead on 39 minutes when Claude Seanla saw his breakaway shot parried and Joe King tucked away the rebound. They confirmed the points on 85 minutes when Carl Almond outjumped the defence to head home the third. Ashford Town Reserves 5, Deal Town Reserves 3 A GOAL FEST at The Homelands on Wednesday saw Ashford reserves bounce back from a disappointing loss in their 1st Floodlight game of the season. The impressive Claude Seanla constantly caused the Deal defence a problem with his speed and touch on his debut scoring a goal and supplying two also having one effort disallowed. Deal took an early lead but Town were level on 32 minutes when Seanla rifled a rebound into the net to level. Deal regained the lead two minutes later but Ashford hit back three minutes before the break Bradley King down the left cut in and shot which swerved just before the keeper who let it slip past him for the equaliser. Ashford took the lead Seanla again in the action from a cross shot keeper managed to push it away only as far as captain Ralph who made no mistake from 10 yards out. Again Ashford could not keep the lead and within two minutes a mistake by the keeper lead to an easy goal for Deal. Scott Bouvier, on as a second half substitute, crossed to Doerr his shot was blocked the ball fell to Glyde to slot it home. A couple of minutes later Senna from midfield set Doerr free who rounded the oncoming keeper to fire home into an empty net to secure the points.
