Lighter load for dedicated litter-pickers

Kentish Express Ashford & District - - Opinion -

CARING about the community seems to be improving in Bethersden as volunteers collected less discarded rubbish than usual when they turned out for the twice yearly litterpick despite the poor weather on Saturday. Event organiser and parish councillor Pat Pearman was delighted that some newcomers to the village joined in the effort to keep things spick and span that she has organised for the past eight years.
