Top teaching post for former pupil
A FORMER pupil of Ashford’s Norton Knatchbull school has taken on a top teaching role.
Adrian Wyles, 40, has been appointed director of sixth form at Sutton Valence School, near Maidstone.
After a degree in geography and teacher training, he began his teaching career at a large London comprehensive before becoming principal teacher of humanities at Homewood School, Tenterden.
For the past seven years, he has been head of geography and head of professional development at the independent Hurstpierpoint College, West Sussex.
He has returned to live in Tenterden with his wife Dee and their 12-year-old son Chris. THOSE first days at primary school are very special.
So to enable you to keep a memento of those unique times the Kentish Express’s highlypopular First Class is returning this autumn.
Our photographers are visiting every primary school in the area to take photographs of pupils who started school for the first time this term, and their teachers.
The first batch of First Class school photographs will appear in next week’s Kentish Express.
