Have a frightful time with Halloween fun
IF you’re looking for an unforgettable day out during the October half term, come to the Rare Breeds Centre’s Fun and Fear event at Woodchurch. From October 29 to November 1 inclusive between 10.30am and 4pm, families with younger children can enjoy the gentle daytime Halloween fun including a Halloween pantomime, Devil’s pig race, boo tunnel, Hansel and Gretel’s cottage plus all the usual fun of the farm. There’s even a Halloween fancy dress competition with great prizes for the children. As darkness falls from 6pm to 10 pm, the bigger braver people can enjoy the terror trailer rides, terrifying walks through the Forbidden Forest, boo tunnel, a more scary pantomime, zombie attacks, the clown’s revenge and soup with the Wild Witches. There’s a barbecue and refreshments. Dress for the weather and bring a torch. For details visit www.rarebreeds.org.uk or phone 01233 861493 ext 221.
