Ashford then had to come from behind almost immediately responding with crisp passing down the left finding Jon Stiff who waltzed the defenders with some fine skills to fire the ball home.
They then had several close attempts with Fox hitting the post but their efforts were rewarded close to half-time when a cross from Stiff was neatly deflected by Vincett to find Fox free on the penalty spot to strike.
Ashford held the lead going into the second half thanks to a wonder save from keeper Rob Allan, who has made a great comeback after two seasons out through injury.
Ashford piled on the pressure in the second half and Stiff styl- ishly converting a penalty corner and John Hellyar quickly adding a fourth after a stunning pass from Starley cut the defence open allowing Galvin to find Hellyar free on the back post.
Although BBHC added their second Ashford again responded well and quickly re-established their three-goal advantage when man of the match James Spain set up Fox for his second.
