Fire­works light up cas­tle

TWO fire­work events will take place at Leeds Cas­tle on Novem­ber 7, 8 and 9. The Mu­sic and Light Fire­work Spec­tac­u­lar on Fri­day, Novem­ber 7, is suit­able for adults and older chil­dren. This py­rotech­nic spec­tac­u­lar set against the back­drop of the lit cas­tle fea­tures fire­works chore­ographed to mu­sic. Pro­jected im­ages and lasers add to the fan­tas­tic dis­play cul­mi­nat­ing in a breath­tak­ing fi­nale. Opens 6pm; fire­work dis­play starts 7.30pm. All tick­ets must be pre-booked and cost £16 each. The Leg­end of Ex­cal­ibur Fire­work Spec­tac­u­lar on Novem­ber 8 and 9 will il­lus­trate the tales of King Arthur. Ar­rive early and spend the af­ter­noon in the cas­tle grounds en­joy­ing the play­grounds, fal­conry dis­plays and watch­ing the Knights of Royal Eng­land joust­ing at the Court of Camelot be­fore The Leg­end of Ex­cal­ibur Fire­work Spec­tac­u­lar be­gins. The nar­rated tale and syn­chro­nised fire­works are mag­i­cal. Opens noon; fire­work dis­play starts 5.30pm. The cas­tle it­self will be closed dur­ing the events.
