New recruit seals deal on 14-van sale

MOTORLINE Renault’s latest recruit has shown bosses they made a good decision re-hiring him after he sold 14 Renault vans to one customer.

Daniel Peattie returned to the Hilton Road, Ashford, dealership as new light commercial vehicle and fleet manager after spending a year away working for his father’s business.

After just three months back in the fold, Daniel, who had previously spent three years as a technician and then a salesman with Motorline, made the impressive sale to national property maintenance specialists Roalco.

Bosses at the Surrey-based company, which works with local authorities and registered social landlords, decided on the Renault Van range after recently winning a contract in the town, which meant they needed a fleet of top-spec vans.

Last week, 14 members of the Roalco team headed to the Cobbs Wood base to pick up their 10 new Renault Master Vans and four Renault Trafics.

Although Daniel had previously sold hundreds of cars for Motorline, even he was surprised by the speed of the bulk sale.

Motorline Ashford’s general manager Robert Ledwith added: “The reputation we have built up over the years certainly counts for a lot, but this sale is all down to Daniel and we are delighted to have him back on board.”
