We’re thriving, says the man on the street

Kentish Express Ashford & District - - Business -

MP FOR Folkestone and Hythe Michael Howard attended the opening of a new Folkestone business development. The Glenmore Centre is the latest addition to the Shearway Business Park, Cheriton. Several units have already been sold to SeaTrans and Shepway Building Contractors. Tony Morpeth of Glenmore was not worried about warnings of financial gloom: “The South East is a really thriving place for business. The headlines are not reflecting the situation of the man on the street. Deals are still being done.”
