Youngsters won’t have time to get bored at half-term

HAVE you got the half-term hor­rors?

With schools break­ing up for a week to­mor­row, Ash­ford and Char­ing li­braries are of­fer­ing some half-term op­tions to keep bored chil­dren oc­cu­pied.

There is Yo­gabugs on Tues­day, Oc­to­ber 28, at Ash­ford li­brary from 11am to 11.30am (suit­able for chil­dren aged two to seven).

That’s fol­lowed by a Pop Art day on Wed­nes­day, Oc­to­ber 29, at Char­ing li­brary, be­tween 11am-1pm. Test­ing out a tele­scope is avail­able in the Rough Guide to the Uni­verse at Ash­ford Li­brary on Thurs­day, Oc­to­ber 30, be­tween 6-7pm (for chil­dren over six years).

A ghost walk to mark Hal­loween will start from Ash­ford Li­brary at 6.30pm on Fri­day, Oc­to­ber 31.
