Step across the Threshold

Kentish Express Ashford & District - - Sounds Good -

A SERIES of intimate, nationally-acclaimed performances are heading to Ashford and Folkestone.

The four events, collectively entitled Threshold, have already been impressing audiences, and creative producer Cathy Westbrook said: “Threshold offers a wonderful opportunity to experience something a little bit different by innovative, top-class performers.

“It marks the beginning of a new programme of performance work for East Kent which will give audiences exciting new work in a range of locations outside traditional theatres.”

The venues are being kept under wraps until all tickets are booked.

Folkestone’s offering is called Curious: On The Scent, an exploration of the elusive connections between smell and memory, and will be staged on the weekend of November 29-30.

In Ashford from December 1314, Lucy Cash will present Before You Go, which will involve a mysterious meeting between three people in a house.

Tickets cost £10, with concessions £7 and can be booked via Ashford Tourist Information on 01233 629165.
