STRIP­PING off for saucy snaps to re­veal the naked truth is help­ing raise much­needed funds for char­ity. Vol­un­teers, both male and fe­male, from the 15 staff at Fit­ness First in New Street, Ash­ford, agreed to bare all for a 2009 cal­en­dar that is be­ing snapped up by the health club’s 2,500 mem­bers. Now or­gan­iser and Miss Au­gust, stu­dio and events man­ager Jayne Kin­dell, is of­fer­ing the pub­lic the chance to pur­chase the £5 cal­en­dar hop­ing it will be a sell-out suc­cess in aid of the Bri­tish Heart Foun­da­tion. Cash­ing in on their nat­u­ral as­sets, the su­per-fit team pic­tured in­cludes the cen­tre’s boss Clare Wraight. Miss April is mem­ber­ship ser­vices man­ager Trina Art­wood, and among the other staff to fea­ture are mem­ber­ship con­sul­tant Emma Tonk­ins, fit­ness con­sul­tant Ian Marchant, per­sonal trainer John Pace and health and fit­ness man­ager David Palmer. Jayne said: “It is all in good taste for an ex­tremely good char­ity that our club sup­ports. We are also hold­ing a char­ity ball with a ma­gi­cian and auc­tion of prom­ises on De­cem­ber 11 at the Rare Breeds Cen­tre in Wood­church, and still have a few tick­ets avail­able.”
