Third crash on same bend
THE safety of a bend in a road in Chilham has been questioned by residents after another accident.
The driver and four passengers in a Rover car were taken to the William Harvey Hospital after the accident at 4pm on Monday, November 24.
One of the passengers was treated for neck and head injuries but the other four were unhurt.
The car was travelling towards Challock along the A252 and left the road at a bend before the Dane Street junction, damaging a wall, fence and hedge.
Residents say it was the third such incident on the bend in five years.
