Firms asked how business is going

Kentish Express Ashford & District - - Kent Business Update -

A REVIEW of land in Shepway is underway by the district council to help the area weather the economic crisis.

A questionnaire is being sent to businesses across the district to find out more about their plans.

As well as focusing on land and premises, it will be an opportunity for firms to comment on other factors affecting their business.

The findings will also go into the Local Development Framework, the successor to the Local Plan, which will guide future planning decisions about the amount and type of development to take place locally, especially the balance between jobs and housing.

For more information please contact Keith Grimley, Economic Development Officer on 01303 853648.
