Did you see at­tack from the Home Plus car park?

PO­LICE are step­ping up the hunt for two men who at­tacked a teenager in Beaver Road dur­ing the evening of De­cem­ber 1.

They have is­sued a de­scrip­tion of the men they are seek­ing fol­low­ing the as­sault hop­ing that wit­nesses will come for­ward.

At 7.30pm the 16-year-old was wait­ing in Beaver Road, close to the al­ley­way that leads to Vic­to­ria Park, when two men crossed the road and punched him.

An­other man parked in the Home Plus car park, and be­lieved to be driv­ing a black es­tate car, shouted at the at­tack­ers who made off in the di­rec­tion of the sta­tion.

Po­lice are keen to speak to him and any­one else who might have in­for­ma­tion about the in­ci­dent.

The of­fend­ers are both de­scribed as white, aged 23-24.

One was about 5ft 9in, of broad build, with blonde, short spiked hair, wear­ing black trousers, navy blue/grey and white striped coat and white trousers. He spoke with a deep voice and had a stud in one ear.

The other was just over 6ft, of thin build with short, black spiked hair, wear­ing a grey hooded top, black trousers, white train­ers and pos­si­bly black gloves.
