Rap­per, 7, im­presses tal­ent judges

A SEVEN-YEAR-OLD rap­per won the judges’ praise with his per­for­mance at a tal­ent show at Ash­ford Youth The­atre. Jor­dan Cur­tis was not the only win­ner though; Ruby Louise Luck won the singing seg­ment, while Rosie, Cather­ine and Nikita won for their danc­ing. The judges were rap­per Blitz, pic­tured, Cllr El­iz­a­beth Tweed and KCC di­ver­sity of­fi­cer for youth ser­vices Gary Forde. The com­pe­ti­tion was or­gan­ised by Ad­die’s Zim­bab­wean Anointed Com­mu­nity Youth As­so­ci­a­tion (AZACYA) along with Blade En­ter­tain­ment. Blade said: “The whole idea of run­ning th­ese events is to try to build con­fi­dence and keep them out of trou­ble. “I am grate­ful to the per­form­ers for their par­tic­i­pa­tion and the coun­cil for its sup­port.” There will be an­other tal­ent com­pe­ti­tion on De­cem­ber 27, with re­hearsals start­ing on Satur­day De­cem­ber 13.
