Mum­mers plays do­ing the rounds

WOOD­CHURCH Mor­ris Men are get­ting ready to stage their tra­di­tional mum­mers plays in six pubs this month, all in aid of char­ity.

Big­gles Flies Un­done is a 30minute farce based on the war­time hero cre­ated by Cap­tain WE Johns and will be per­formed twice nightly for three nights.

Dave Com­ley, from the mor­ris men, said: “It is an adult com­edy, very much in the Carry On style.

“Last year’s mum­mers plays raised £400 for a lo­cal char­ity and we are hop­ing to do bet­ter this year.”

Big­gles Flies Un­done can be seen at the World’s Won­der, Wood­church, at 8pm and at The Bell, Ivy­church, at 9.15pm on Sun­day, De­cem­ber 21; at The Wool­pack, Ten­ter­den, at 8pm and The Swan, Wit­ter­sham, at 9.15pm on Mon­day, De­cem­ber 22.

It can be seen at the Duke’s Head, Ham­street, at 8pm and the Six Bells, Wood­church, at 9.15pm on Tues­day, De­cem­ber 23.
