Mummers plays doing the rounds
WOODCHURCH Morris Men are getting ready to stage their traditional mummers plays in six pubs this month, all in aid of charity.
Biggles Flies Undone is a 30minute farce based on the wartime hero created by Captain WE Johns and will be performed twice nightly for three nights.
Dave Comley, from the morris men, said: “It is an adult comedy, very much in the Carry On style.
“Last year’s mummers plays raised £400 for a local charity and we are hoping to do better this year.”
Biggles Flies Undone can be seen at the World’s Wonder, Woodchurch, at 8pm and at The Bell, Ivychurch, at 9.15pm on Sunday, December 21; at The Woolpack, Tenterden, at 8pm and The Swan, Wittersham, at 9.15pm on Monday, December 22.
It can be seen at the Duke’s Head, Hamstreet, at 8pm and the Six Bells, Woodchurch, at 9.15pm on Tuesday, December 23.
