ASH­FORD Spar­tans pulled off the shock of the round by winning 3-1 at Ald­ing­ton Re­serves, who are go­ing well in the divi­sion above them.

Ben Hearn­den and Paul Hunt put Spar­tans two up be­fore Kevin Ruane pulled one back for the hosts only for Liam Ed­monds to wrap it up for Spar­tans.

Brabourne also caused a sur­prise when they won 3-1 at home to high­fly­ing Ash­ford Cava­liers Re­serves.

Matt Gomez put Cava­liers ahead be­fore Rob Tan­ner, with a brace, and Nick Hick­mott scored the goals that put Brabourne into the last 16.

Lo­co­mo­tive Inn edged out High­field Res­reves 5-4 with Sean Wal­lace (3), Dan Glover (2) on tar­get. Paul Biggs (2), Paul Hughes and man-of-the-match Mark Lee replied for High­field.

Ruckinge United went through af­ter beat­ing Mer­sham Re­serves 1-0, Barry Pithers with the only goal of the game.

Man of Kent went out 2-1 to William Har­vey Inn with Jor­don Wing’s soli­tary ef­fort be­ing out­weighed by goals from Char­lie Fitzger­ald and Craig Davies. IN THE match of the day, Ap­ple­dore knocked out Galac­ti­cos 3-1 af­ter ex­tra­time. Paul An­ning put Dors ahead only for Tommy Lock­ett to level things up and take the game into ex­tra-time.

Paul Luff put Dors back in front from the penalty spot be­fore Paul Giles com­pleted the scor­ing.

Eger­ton (Richard Tubbs and Jos Con­lon) were edged out 3-2 by Brom­ley Green Re­serves, for whom Lee Blox­ham (2) and an own goal made up the tally.

Churchill Roy­als booked their semi-fi­nal place with a 3-2 win at Grasshop­pers. Ryan Smith and Iain Fel­lows put Churchill two up be­fore Matt Har­ris and Gary Web­ster put Grasshop­pers back on level terms only for Chris Shan­ney to score the win­ner in the last few min­utes.

The Al­bion make up the semi-fi­nal quar­tet af­ter winning 3-0 at Ash­ford Ea­gles. Kevin Quinn grabbed a brace with Calum McKen­zie also on tar­get. THE one game pro­duced goals galore with Troggs winning 7-4 against Bliby, thanks to four-goal Adam Rof­fey and Matt Dyke, who hit a hat-trick. Richard Boor­man, Joe Valler and Paul Burt (2) scored for Bliby. HIGH­FIELD stay top af­ter a 2-1 win over Bocca, Mark Lunn and Adam Bellman did the dam­age while Jamie Bud­ki­wicz replied for Bocca.

Mar­ket Ho­tel Re­serves picked up three points with a 6-2 win over Lydd. Joe Ansell led the way with a hat-trick, while Barry Beaney added a cou­ple and there was one from Ron­nie Wil­liams.

Andy Ben­nett scored twice for Lydd. THE only game saw The Cru­sader beat Wye Monar­chs 4-2 with Aly Ay­din (2), Dar­ren Holmes and an own goal mak­ing up the tally. Jos Lackra and Kieran Smith replied for Wye. NEWCHURCH chalked up their big­gest win since en­ter­ing the league with an 8-0 de­mo­li­tion job on Troggs Re­serves.

Gavin Prowse scored two with the oth­ers from Ja­son James, Lee Jack­man, Greg Hitchin­son, Ma­son Rid­dle, Sam Knight and Jamie Mad­docks. WYE MONAR­CHS Re­serves and Prince Al­bert shared the points in a 3-3 draw. Clive Adori­sio, William Cooke and James Ed­wards net­ted for Wye, Liam Dear (2) and Gary Kerry replied.
