Riders spread a little cheer
MORE than 200 motorcycles took part in a Christmas toy run for sick children. The convoy travelled from the Halfway House pub at Challock to the William Harvey Hospital, via Charing. They were met by hospital play specialist Jane McReadie before taking the presents to the children’s ward. AHBS, the hospital’s radio station covered Sunday’s event with presenters both at the starting point and the Harvey itself. The bikers’ toy run is organised by Hothfield couple Brian and Eileen Johns and is now in its 14th year.
