Old-style door is all that’s needed

Kentish Express Ashford & District - - Opinion -

WHILE the shared space ring road and new high-speed train services are rarely out of the news, spare a thought for domestic rail passengers shivering while waiting for trains at Ashford International station. In spite of a refurb of the cafeteria areas, the doors remain open at all times so that warm air blowing out of the heaters goes straight outside and into the ether. A good old-fashioned door that opens and closes would make things much more welcoming at the state-of-the-art station over the winter months. Adam Colton, Hamstreet.
