PUPILS who certainly had the X factor thrilled an audience when they performed in a singing competition at their school. It was held at the Folkestone Academy, with each of the eight houses tasked with putting together a choir, choosing a song and putting on a performance. The sports hall was transformed by a team of professional audio visual specialists and a live video link to a big screen captured every moment of the sell-out performance. The competition is set to become an annual event. Vice principal Matthew Wright said: “It was really wonderful to see so many supporting the evening.”
