School flippers help jumpers
PUPILS at Charing Church of England Primary School took part in a sponsored pancake flip to help the school’s PTA raise money towards safety equipment needed for the school’s two trampolines. New safety regulations mean that the school must have end decks fitted, at a cost of almost £4,000. The school is proud of being the only primary school in Kent to have full size trampolining facilities and a qualified instructor, and the PTA have pledged to raise half the money needed by holding various events during the year. Pancake contest winner Jimmy Rossiter managed to flip his pancake an amazing 141 times!
