School flip­pers help jumpers

PUPILS at Char­ing Church of Eng­land Pri­mary School took part in a spon­sored pan­cake flip to help the school’s PTA raise money to­wards safety equip­ment needed for the school’s two tram­po­lines. New safety reg­u­la­tions mean that the school must have end decks fit­ted, at a cost of al­most £4,000. The school is proud of be­ing the only pri­mary school in Kent to have full size tram­polin­ing fa­cil­i­ties and a qual­i­fied in­struc­tor, and the PTA have pledged to raise half the money needed by hold­ing var­i­ous events dur­ing the year. Pan­cake con­test win­ner Jimmy Ros­siter man­aged to flip his pan­cake an amaz­ing 141 times!
