Chiefs face questions on health centre
ASHFORD’S new health centre was discussed when health chiefs came to town for a question and answer session.
Leading members of NHS Eastern and Coastal Kent primary care trust met 40 to 50 members of the public at Ashford’s Julie Rose Stadium on Tuesday last week .
One subject discussed was the £13 million health centre on the old Ashford hospital site at King’s Avenue, due to open in spring 2012.
Among those answering questions were Dr John Rodriguez, the PCT’s assistant director of public health, chairman Colin Tomson and chief executive Ann Sutton.
