Boys in­jured in car park phone at­tack

TWO teenage boys were punched by a pair of thugs in a street rob­bery.

The boys were at­tacked and a mo­bile phone was stolen at the Sains­bury’s car park in Si­mone Weil Av­enue, Ash­ford.

Their as­sailants then fled on bi­cy­cles.

Po­lice say the vic­tims were ap­proached by the two youths. Both at­tack­ers punched one boy in the face and stom­ach and he ran off.

The sec­ond vic­tim was punched in the head and stom­ach and his mo­bile phone was stolen.

He was treated at the scene shortly af­ter­wards by an am­bu­lance crew but was not taken to hospi­tal.

The at­tack hap­pened be­tween 3.50am and 4am last Thurs­day and the thugs took off on black BMX bikes.

Both as­sailants are be­lieved to be white and aged 16 to 17 with slim builds and they were clean shaven.

The first is de­scribed as 6ft, with short hair. He wore a black fur-lined hooded top.

The sec­ond is be­lieved to be 5ft 9in. He wore a black track­suit top with a light blue em­blem on the front and dark track­suit trousers.
