Put some bounce in your life
YOUNGSTERS are being invited to bounce for Comic Relief at Wye Farmers’ Market on Saturday. A bouncy castle will be available for use by anyone with a red nose on, with prizes on offer from regular stall holders for the event between 9am and noon on the village green. Market manager Jen Porter said: “What better way to raise money for Comic Relief and have some fun than by wearing red noses on a bouncy castle.”
PILATES by candlelight and doing exercise classes in pyjamas are among events being held by Ashford Group Fitness in aid of Comic Relief. The group kicks off its fundraising effort with fitness pilates by candlelight at Willesborough WI Hall in Church Road from 7pm to 8pm on Sunday followed by a Salsacise night at 6.30pm on Tuesday at the same venue. A pyjamas, legs, bums and tums class takes place at Aldington Village Hall the following evening at 8.30pm and the final event is a legs, bums and tums session in 1980s outfits at Godinton Village Hall on Thursday, March 12, from 7pm to 8pm.
