Slimmers pass on chocolate
SLIMMERS have passed on their sweet treats in a bid to beat the flab.
Members of the Slimming World groups in Ashford have been collecting their Christmas goodies to save the pounds piling on once the festive period has been and gone.
They have donated a large number of boxes of chocolates to the Demelza House children’s hospice.
Julia Males, consultant at the Wyvern School group on Tuesday evenings, said: “It is some- thing we have done for the past three years.
“It is always a nice treat for the children and families at the hospice and it empowers the members to shift the pounds, in fact 30 stones worth in the last three weeks of January alone”.
