OWNERS of a dog which escaped from boarding kennels fear their dog might now have been stolen.

Dodger, an 11-month-old black, chocolate and white Staffordshire bull terrier, is said to have jumped a fence at Country Paws, in Aldington on Friday and run off. The puppy hasn’t been seen since.

Owner Linda Delieu , of Greatstone, said: “He seems to have vanished. We’ve contacted the police, dog wardens, vets and even the zoo, but he’s just disappeared.”

John Stretton, the owner of Country Paws, said the kennels had only had the dog for 30 minutes when it ran off.

He said: “We have been searching everywhere. We have never lost a dog before and we have been here for nine years. We are gutted.”

Anyone with information is asked to phone 07554 312084.
