DUATHLON: Com­peti­tors on their bikes for race in King’s Wood, Chal­lock

COM­PETI­TORS from as far away as Cum­bria de­scended on King’s Wood, Chal­lock, at the week­end for a duathlon or­gan­ised by Ash­ford Tri Club.

Per­fect weather con­di­tions helped the 128 en­trants who took part in the 3k run, 15k moun­tain bike ride and sec­ond 3k run on Sun­day.

The race, spon­sored by Pod­plus, the sports shop and in­jury clinic at the Julie Rose sta­dium, is the fourth event or­gan­ised by Ash­ford Tri Club.
