Home­lands is host to stars

TELE­VI­SION cam­eras will be in Ash­ford for this year’s char­ity foot­ball match at Home­lands foot­ball sta­dium on Sun­day, April 26. For­mer Liver­pool, Tot­ten­ham and Eng­land de­fender Neil ‘Ra­zor’ Rud­dock is manag­ing a team, which will in­clude stars of TV pro­gramme Soc­cer AM. Footage filmed at the match, in­clud­ing crowd shots, will later be broad­cast on Soc­cer AM. Ra­zor’s team, which in­cludes kmfm pre­sen­ter John ‘Webbo’ Web­ster, will take on Ash­ford Town Past and Present to raise money for the Pil­grims Hospice and chil­dren’s can­cer char­ity CLIC Sar­gent. Gates open at noon for en­ter­tain­ment. Kick off is at 3pm.

Tick­ets are £7.50 for adults, £3 for chil­dren. They can be bought from Home­lands on match days or at the Ken­tish Ex­press and kmfm of­fice, 34 North Street, Ash­ford, be­tween 9am and 5pm Mon­day to Fri­day.
