Walking on water for charity
THE Kentish Express and kmfm Water Walking Challenge needs a videographer to capture all the fun at the pool and at the same time create a splash for their business.
On Friday, May 15, participants will be lining up at Tenterden Leisure Centre to step inside giant transparent zorbs in an attempt to walk on water by propelling themselves for 25 metres across the pool.
A volunteer videographer is needed to capture all the excitement of the challenge and the KM Charity Challenge team will post the film on to YouTube so those taking part can show their family and friends what they have achieved.
The experience can also be shared on Facebook as participants can add the clips to their pages.
Perhaps you are a photographer or someone who makes films at special events for a living.
By volunteering your services you will be putting your firm’s name in the spotlight as well as helping two top Kent charities continue their vital work.
Proceeds from the KM Water Walking Challenge will be shared between the Pilgrims Hospice (70 per cent) and children’s road safety charity Kent Walking Bus (30 per cent).
To take part in the KM Water Walking Challenge you must pledge to raise a minimum of £75. This challenge is for adults only and there is a maximum weight restriction of 15 stone.
If you can help at the event then contact Simon Dolby on 07989 164752.
