Walk­ing Bus pair win ferry trip to France

TWO vol­un­teers with the KM Walk­ing Bus have won a trip to France. Nicole Hume of Fur­ley Park Pri­mary School, Ash­ford, and Lisa Somerville of St Martin’s Pri­mary School, Folke­stone, were the win­ners. They have picked up the P&O Fer­ries voucher for a five-day re­turn trip for a car and up to nine pas­sen­gers af­ter be­ing au­to­mat­i­cally en­tered into a prize draw along with other Walk­ing Bus vol­un­teers. P&O spokesman Brian Rees said: “We are a big com­pany and many of our em­ploy­ees have fam­i­lies at school in the county, so it is im­por­tant we sup­port the wider com­mu­nity to get chil­dren to school safely and in the fresh air.”
