FOLKESTONE 1sts hit a low point in their season on Saturday as they drew 0-0 with Tunbridge Wells in South League 1st XI Kent/ Sussex Regional. The visitors, who before the weekend had failed to register a point in the league, never looked dangerous but neither did Folkestone in a first half of little incident. The second half saw the hosts start well, creating good breaks and showing great skills but they still couldn’t convert their chances or short corners. The 3rds also suffered a poor result as they lost 8-1 at home to University of Kent, leaving them three games left to save their Kent Open Premier Division status. The 4ths lost 3-0 at Bromley and Beckenham 6ths to all but consign themselves to relegation from Kent Open Premier C.
