A CHURCH Christ­mas fair raised about t £1,500 for and starred a ju­nior choir mak king its de­but per­for­mance. The event, at Kingsnorth Vil­lage Hall on Satur­day, was run by the Friends of King­north and Sha­dox­hurst Churches forf its funds. The event also fea­tures a first per­for­man nce by the Kingsnorth Ju­nior Church. The churches’ vicar, Canon Sheila McLach­lan, said: “Con­sid­er­ing the curre ent eco­nomic cli­mate we were very happy withw the amount raised. “The event was also very well at­tended.” ”
