Pi­rat­i­cal Play­ers will turn barn into galleon

AHOY there! Mem­bers of the Char­ing Guild of Play­ers are re­hears­ing hard for their next pro­duc­tion. Dave Hut­ton of the Play­ers said: “For a few days in Fe­bru­ary, the wooden beams of the Church Barn in Char­ing will be trans­formed into the deck of a pi­rate galleon when we present a rol­lick­ing ver­sion of Robert Louis Steven­son’s Trea­sure Is­land.” The pro­duc­tion will run from Fe­bru­ary 3 to 6. Tick­ets are £7 with a £5 con­ces­sion for those in full-time ed­u­ca­tion. They are avail­able on 01233 713725.
