A NEW-look coffee shop has opened for business. LetsEat, in Market Buildings, Godinton Road, Ashford, held an open day to mark its launch on Sunday. It is owned by Lloyd Starley, 25, who has taken over the premises previously occupied by the Canteen. Lloyd has lived in Ashford all his life and his parents own Tiny Tots in Bank Street. The coffee shop is open from 7.30am to 4pm, Monday to Saturday, serving coffees, teas, snacks and hot food. Mr Starley also plans to expand an outside catering business offering food for businesses, functions and parties. “There’s never a good time to take a gamble on a new business but I used to run a coffee shop in the Stour Centre and before that in Tenterden, so I know what I’m doing,” he said.
