THE Folke­stone and Hythe Op­er­atic and Dra­matic So­ci­ety will be per­form­ing Aladdin in the new year and we have two fam­ily tick­ets for you to win. The panto takes place in the Tower The­atre, North Road, Shorn­cliffe, from Jan­uary 1-10. Roger Joyce, who is play­ing Widow Twankey, says this is the best script ever. Di­rec­tor Peter He­selden said: “Aladdin of­fers so much more scope for the artist, both sceni­cally and over the top spe­cial ef­fects.” The show in­cludes colour­ful and ex­otic cos­tumes and mys­te­ri­ous ori­en­tal sets of old Pek­ing.
