Buses are better on route 10

Kentish Express Ashford & District - - Family Announcements -

ONE of the routes where passengers can benefit from a £3.6 million investment made by Stagecoach in east Kent is route 10 route between Ashford and Folkestone via Brabourne Lees, Lympne and Hythe.

The hourly Monday to Saturday service on the 21-mile long route now has an upgraded bus fleet, offering easy access for wheelchair users and parents with baby buggies.

Mark Spratt, operations manager for Stagecoach in Folkestone says that the more modern buses offer kerb-level boarding and ramps can also be used by drivers to bridge the gap when necessary.

Once on board, the buses have more floor space to park wheelchairs and buggies.

Information on the new services is available by logging on to www.stagecoachbus.com/ eastkent or calling 08456 00 22 99.
