Paul poses as a bare-bike rider
YOU could be forgiven for thinking you’d had too much mulled wine the night before when greeted with this sight on Christmas morning. Singleton resident Paul Sciberras donned nothing but his motorbike and modesty (and underpants) on December 25 to raise money for the Kent Air Ambulance. The father-of-three said: “I’m a member of the Laguna Ashford Triumph RAT Pack and our chosen charity is the Kent Air Ambulance. We were thinking of ideas and somehow I ended up becoming the one going around Ashford town centre on Christmas morning.” The 48-year-old took the RAT Pack rodent trip from Debenhams on his Daytona 675 and drove to the top of Bank Street before heading down town, along Elwick Street and back to Debenhams to the roar of the RAT Packers. Queen RAT Dee Timmis said: “It was really, really funny and a couple of the other guys decided to join in. Anyone driving along on Christmas morning must have thought they were absolutely nuts. “We’ve done a few fundraising events and raised nearly £700 for the Kent Air Ambulance.” The group meets every first Tuesday of the month, alternating between the Ashford Triumph Store and The Queens Head pub in Kingsnorth.
