THE dates have been released for the 2010 Sellindge Music Festival. Live bands and DJs will take to the stage at Hope Farm from June 11-13. Organisers are anticipating that the event will sell out its 5,000 capacity. Now in its third year, the event has become a central feature of the Kent music scene. Specially commissioned festival T-shirts will go on sale shortly, followed by hooded tops later. The 2010 festival will have a greater artistic feel to it. Organiser Ian Baird said: “We’ve been approached by a number of arts organisations about using the festival to increase their presence within the local community. “We are aiming to make Sellindge 2010 not only more musically diverse, but also more visually appealing.”
