ONE lucky school from this area could win a £7,500 dream project – but it is down to you.

The KM Group has teamed up with Denne to make one primary or special school’s dream come true.

Up for grabs is £7,500 to spend on a project which will improve the school environment.

Four schools from Ashford and Shepway are among the 19 shortlisted finalists and now it is up to you to have your say.

Voting vouchers will appear in this paper from this week for returning to the school concerned.

The school getting the most votes on a pro-rata basis, compared to their pupil headcount, will win – it is as simple as that.

The vouchers will appear weekly until June 3 and a special bonus token worth five points will be printed on June 10.

Sensory

Once the votes are coming and getting counted, a leadership board will go in the paper each week so you can see how your school is faring – and how many votes it needs to get to the top.

The winner will be announced on June 24.

Finalists from this area are Victoria Road primary school in Ashford, Dymchurch primary, Victoria Road primary in Ashford, St Eanswythe’s primary in Folkestone and Saltwood primary.

If it wins, Victoria Road would buy outdoor wooden benches, dressing-up clothes and a playhouse as well as improve the key stage one playground, while Dymchurch would spend the money on improving the reception class outdoor area.

A play area and garden will be on the cards if St Eanswythe’s School wins while Saltwood would create a sensory garden.

So get voting and help make a school’s dream come true.
