Man robbed in his own home

PO­LICE are hunt­ing a gang of thugs who robbed a man in his house.

The rob­bers turned up at the 27-year-old’s home in Can­ter­bury Road, Ash­ford, threat­ened him and took cash and valu­ables.

Kent Po­lice spokesman Rosy Alexan­der said: “Two men knocked on the door.

“The vic­tim was threat­ened with vi­o­lence and the two of­fend­ers de­manded cash.

“He handed over a quan­tity of cash and the of­fend­ers also made a search of the man’s bed­room and stole jew­ellery, an Ap­ple iPhone and cam­era.

“A third of­fender joined the two of­fend­ers and they all left the prop­erty to­gether.”

The vic­tim suf­fered mi­nor in­juries, which did not need med­i­cal at­ten­tion.

The raid hap­pened at 1.50pm on Tues­day, April 21.

One of the two men who called at the house is dark Euro­pean, 5ft 3in, of medium build, aged 22 to 23, with short, dark brown hair and wear­ing a hooded top.

The other is dark Euro­pean, 5ft 5in, of slim build and his face was cov­ered.

The third man is tall and was wear­ing a green scarf cov­er­ing his face.
