APPARENTLY forming a coalition government with the Liberal Democrats is not the first amazing trick Tory leader David Cameron has managed to pull off.

Magician Etienne Pradier from Wye was performing at a charity event in London before the election when Mr Cameron seemed to predict his own destiny by pulling the 10 of hearts from his deck of cards.

French illusionist Mr Pradier said: “There were a lot of celebrities there and on the top table I asked David Cameron to take any card he wanted.

“Then I asked the audience to guess which card he had picked. After a couple of wrong guesses I said ‘Hang on, this is a prediction card’ and turned it over and it was number 10.

“I’m not political but it was great and it made him laugh.”

Mr Pradier has kept the signed card as a memento since the prediction came true.

The French magician will be performing at the Sinden Theatre at Homewood School in Ashford Road, Tenterden, in aid of the Kent Air Ambulance from 7.30pm on June 14. To book call the box office on 01580 763826.
