Model Nancy on school catwalk
MODEL and actress Nancy Sorrell, the wife of comedian Vic Reeves, has been thanked for helping Smarden Primary School raise nearly £1,000 to fund a theatre trip.
The 35-year-old star from Charing strutted her stuff on the catwalk and proved to be the main attraction at a charity fashion show organised by the school’s parents, teachers and friends’ association at the Charter Hall last Friday evening.
The leggy blonde, who has three-year-old twin daughters, and four other models wore high street and boutique clothing provided by Travelling Trends.
More than 125 women turned up for the night and raised £955.70 which will pay for 91 children to go to see a stage production of the Roald Dahl story George’s Marvellous Medicine in September.
PTFA chairman Debbie Windibank said: “We’re really grateful that Nancy gave up her time to do it as she made it such a great night for everyone.
“We had people come all the way from Battle in Sussex and a lot of people came from Charing to show their support.
“The money raised is going to pay for everyone in the school to have a treat and kick off the new school year with a nice trip.”
