Schoolgirl who saved mum’s life
AN AWARD has been presented to a brave schoolgirl who helped saved her mum’s life.
Lady Joanna Thornhill Primary School pupil Chloe Swan, pictured with head teacher Kevin Grout, who was seven at the time, checked her mum’s heartbeat and breathing after she found her collapsed at home in Abbots Walk, Wye last May.
Chloe, the oldest of three children, ran to get help from neighbours who heralded her a “heroine”.
She was presented with the David Marriott award for youth endeavour at a Wye and Hinxhill parish council meeting.
