MUSIC and mirth will be brought together in the headline act at The Comedy Club Ashford’s next laughter night. Duncan Oakley will be presenting an infectious mix of musical comedy and standup, accompanied by his trusty guitar.

Rude and playful

With an eye and ear for the silly, rude, playful and downright irritating occurrences of life, Duncan musters up songs that will bring a smile to your face and have you humming for days. The comedy night takes place at Ashford International Hotel, Simone Weil Avenue, on Friday, May 28. MC for the night is Windsor, who developed and honed his act as a street performer and is, therefore, excellent at responding to hecklers. Show organisers say he has a well-crafted and instinctive ability to involve and warm up any audience. Also appearing is Dave Twentyman, a rising star of the North West comedy circuit.

Discount

Tickets cost £20, which includes a two-course meal. And there’s a £2 discount for comedy club members. If you fancy staying overnight, there’s a special £99 deal for two people, which includes the show, meal and bed and breakfast. Tickets for the comedy show only cost £14. It’s over-18s only and the doors open at 7.30pm with the comedy starting at 9pm.
