A taste of wartime era at village pub

Kentish Express Ashford & District - - Front Page -

THERE was a chance to wind the clock back to the 1940s at The Six Bells pub in Woodchurch. The event on Sunday was laid on to commemorate all those who served during the Second World War and featured live entertainment and dancing. Classic songs from the era were sung by the Clover Sisters. There was also a Bud Flanagan tribute act. Flanagan was an English wartime entertainer. The USO dance team and wartime vehicles got everyone in the mood.
