Po­lice probe threat of vi­o­lence in cen­tre

CCTV stills of two men who might be able to help in an in­ves­ti­ga­tion into threats of vi­o­lence have been re­leased by po­lice.

A group of men were threat­ened as they sat on a bench out­side Sports Di­rect in Ash­ford High Street, al­though no­body was in­jured.

Po­lice spokesman Rosy Alexan­der said: “It is be­lieved the two men may have in­for­ma­tion that will help the in­ves­ti­ga­tion.”

One of them is de­scribed as white, aged 22 to 26, 6ft 3in, with a stocky build.

He was wear­ing a black T-shirt, black three-quar­ter-length trousers and a sil­ver or grey hat. He is also de­scribed as hav­ing a tat­too on the left side of his neck. The in­ci­dent hap­pened just af­ter mid­night on Satur­day, April 24.
