England flag not banned by the police
RUMOURS of police banning the use of England flags in pubs and clubs have been quashed on Facebook.
Kent Police used their official page to comment after social networkers created a page to express their outrage at any suggestions of the flag of St George being outlawed.
Deputy Chief Constable Gary Beautridge said: “Kent Police is not banning people from wearing football shirts or putting up flags, for example, outside their homes and on their vehicles.”
