Dis­abled chil­dren have rail­way treat

FIFTY dis­abled chil­dren and their car­ers will be given a fun day out at the Kent and East Sus­sex Rail­way in Ten­ter­den next Fri­day.

Their day of en­ter­tain­ment in­cludes a Punch and Judy show at the rail­way, and later a train trip to Bo­diam, along with lunch and re­fresh­ments.

It is be­ing or­gan­ised and funded by Royal Bri­tish Le­gion In­dus­tries (RBLI) in me­mory of David Row­lands, a for­mer di­rec­tor of RBLI, a de­voted sup­porter of ser­vices for dis­abled peo­ple in the South East and also a keen steam rail­way en­thu­si­ast.
