ABUG and Nature Week will be held at Kent Life from Saturday, May 29 to Sunday, June 6. There will be a host of new daily events and activities taking place at the farm attraction in Sandling, near Maidstone, which includes junior quad bikes, donkey rides, face painting, a chance to explore a new wildlife discovery trail with treats to be won and opportunities to paint-a-pot in addition to the activities already in place. This includes bottle feeding lambs and the piglet racing along with regular appearances from Bella the shire horse. A fun dog competition will be held on Bank Holiday Monday, May 31. Make sure you take your pooch along for the day before entering them in the fun competition. There’s a Supreme Champion 2010 trophy up for grabs with categories including waggiest tail, best trick, best look-a-like to owner, cutest puppy, golden oldie, prettiest bitch and most handsome dog! There’ll also be a chance to test your strength in a giant fun tugof-war competition. From the Tuesday to the Thursday, the Creepy Crawly Cuddle Corner will give you the chance to hold cockroaches, giant snails and a snake. Children aged under four can now visit for free.
